The owner of Tango Rentals, Agustin Bas, is originally from Argentina but in 1998, after living in Los Angeles for several years, decided he was tired of the rat race and headed south looking for a more relaxed and laid back life.  He got to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and knew he had found what he was looking for. 

After a brief time spent just enjoying the area, making a lot of great friends, and getting a feel for how things worked in Mexico, Agustin bought a small boat, rented a house – Casa Tango -- located in Boca de Tomatlan, a small fishing village about 30 miles south of Vallarta, and knew instinctively this was where he would eventually settle. 

He soon began offering the house for vacation rentals and offering private boat tours.  As he became better known in the area for his successful small business at Casa Tango, and his reputation as hard working, honest and dependable, other property owners began to approach him to take on their rental properties and in 2002 he started Tango Rentals.  Always looking to offer both property owners and potential renters the best service possible, his first rule was to respond to every inquiry as quickly and honestly as possible -- AND THIS RULE STILL APPLIES. 

Along with his assistant, Pat Jones, you will be well taken care of from your initial inquiry to the day you leave Puerto Vallarta to go home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Pat migrated west to Santa Monica, California in 1976. In 1994 she and her husband moved permanently to Puerto Vallarta where they have lived full-time ever since. In 1997 she joined Richard Kaplan Real Estate and Development where she was in charge of all rentals as well as the day-to-day operation of the sales aspect of the business. In 2002 due to the failing health of Richard Kaplan, she and three other partners started their own real estate company called Action Realty of Puerto Vallarta where she was again responsible for all rental inquiries and the overall management of the company. In 2006, she decided to leave Action Realty and found Tango Rentals and she and Agustin became a motivated team. With her extensive knowledge of Puerto Vallarta and more than 10 years in real estate and the vacation rental business, you can depend on Pat to answer all your questions to insure you know as much as humanly possible about your upcoming vacation.
